Derek Andersen, Co-Founder/Board Member of PWM
The owner of Anderson Roots, LLC., Derek Andersen’s role is managing and building relationships with bankers and investors, monitoring construction activity, acquiring land and growing the overall business. Derek has developed a variety of real estate assets, including MFAM properties, Christian churches and over 2,000 homes for individuals and families. With each completion and sale, Mr. Andersen prided himself on delivering a first-class product and putting the needs of his property owners first. Growing up with his father in the home building industry, Derek Andersen developed a labor of love, hands-on approach to learning every aspect of the building process. God as his primary focus, Derek’s goal is to be the hands and feet of Christ and save souls for the Kingdom through the bus ministry.

Wayne Andersen was the founding member of BlackRock, which has now revolved into Andersen Roots, LLC. Leaving behind the Legacy of Love with the Vision for Expansion of Porky's World Ministries.
At the age of 12, his entrepreneurial spirit led him to sell Amway door-to-door in the 1960’s. That same entrepreneurial spirit led Wayne to become a successful home builder in Texas, as well as the construction or renovation of MFAM properties, Christian churches and fast-food chains. Wayne was also the founder of the Porky’s World Ministries, which Wayne and his son Derek have been working on for nearly 30 years, until Wayne's passing. Through the bus ministry, Wayne and Derek have transported tens of thousands of children to church each week – children who had never been to church before, and many of whom were living in poverty and lacking Christian guidance and inspiration in their lives. Wayne’s family is honored to have a father that gave them the hard work ethic that has made them successful. As a man grounded in the Christian faith, Wayne’s purpose in business was to see every property built or restored for the glory of God’s Kingdom and the long-term happiness of every property owner.
